We have perfected the craft of making a high quality boot that gets you through all seasons. We want you to enjoy your boots and for them to last. So please be kind to them and follow the simple guidelines below to ensure your Hunters are loved and cared for.
Ownership and Care
Hunter Boot Warranty
Our handmade rubber boots are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from date of purchase. This is not a guarantee against wear and tear, improper fit, size or misuse of our products. In the event that your rubber footwear is defective, please return your boots with the valid proof of purchase for evaluation. Boots must be purchased from an authorized Hunter Retailer. All footwear must be cleaned thoroughly before being returned for evaluation. This does not affect your statutory rights. The warranty does not apply to the Original Tour Boot Because of its unique lightweight and foldable construction.

Hunter Rubber Boot Care
To ensure your rubber footwear stays in good condition wipe with lukewarm, soapy water after use and allow to dry naturally. We recommend the use of our Hunter Care Products, including Hunter Boot Buffer and Hunter Boot Shine to keep your rubber footwear looking its best. Store all footwear in a cool, dry, location avoiding direct contact with any heat source, extreme cold or sunlight. Do not store folded or creased.
Occasionally, you may notice white powdery marks on your Hunter rubber footwear. This is described by the term "blooming" and is completely normal for natural rubber products. Blooming may occur in certain conditions when insoluble particles rise to the surface of the rubber. This is a process that is a known characteristic of high quality, natural rubber and nothing to be concerned about.
This process does not affect the performance or durability of your boots. A pristine finish and shine is easily restored with regular use of Hunter Boot Buffer, or Instant Boot Shine, available from good Hunter retailers, as well as from our online store and authorized Hunter retailers. Hunter Boot Buffer is not suitable for use on footwear with a metallic finish.
To contain this 'like new' look, please watch our video on how to clean your wellies here.
There is an increased risk of slipping with on-going sole wear. Exposure to solvents, oils and animal fats can swell the rubber, also increasing the risk of slipping. Please note that Hunter Footwear contains natural latex rubber, which some people may be allergic to. Some footwear and accessories with long trim are not suitable to be worn when near machinery.
