Why fashion – what inspired you to become a stylist and Editor?

Spacing half

I always knew I wanted to work for a magazine, I love the shoots, stories and creative content. Once I started my art foundation at Chelsea College of Art and Design, that it was it, fashion came so easily. I love creating stories, producing visual content and learning about new brands and designers and how they shift style today.

Relaxed and classic, with tom boy tailoring

What aspect of your work are you most passionate about?

Working with an amazing team. When everything fits, the shoots are beyond effortless and result in a very fun day. I love editing too - putting together the final story.

How has the growth of social media and online content impacted your work?

Spacing half

I now appreciate the sense of quality print has more than ever before. Online is so fast and often unedited so I like to make sure that my work still has that print feel. Each image must represent a sense of power, confidence and luxury. It's important to create something new and exciting to cut through the noise.

Do the choices you make in your work as a stylist inspire your personal style, or vice versa?

Spacing half

Very much so, I often style how I'd love to dress.

Where do you go when you need inspiration for your work?

Spacing half

Exhibitions and travel are my main source of inspiration. I also look to creative agencies and check out their artist portfolios, whether that be photographers or illustrators.

How did you go about styling your look for today’s shoot?

Spacing half

A relaxed, layered look with oversize pieces. A pinstripe wide-leg trouser looks great with trainers - always invest in amazing coloured socks.
