We asked Katherine Ormerod, a contributing Fashion Editor at Large, to share her insight into what to wear this festival season.

Once upon a time, festival style meant little more than a cosy parka and your favourite band t-shirt, accessorised with a warm can of beer. Fast forward to 2015 and festival fashion has become one of the most important updates for any summer wardrobe. With our own icons - quintessential rock chic via Stevie Nicks to modern day festival expert Kate Moss - and dedicated seasonal trends, festival packing has become much more of a challenge.
